La Polizia di Stato di Salerno ha smantellato una fiorente attività di spaccio rivolta prevalentemente ai giovani che avveniva in zona giardino sul lungomare di Salerno, luogo di tradizionale frequentazione di famiglie, giovani e bambini. Diciassette sono gli arresti disposti dalla Procura della Repubblica di Salerno, nei confronti di cittadini in maggioranza gambiani. I provvedimenti restrittivi sono giunti all´esito di approfondite e complesse indagini condotte dalla Squadra Mobile supportate anche da specifiche attività di controllo del territorio e con l´ausilio di moderni mezzi tecnologici. Le attività di indagine sono iniziate questo febbraio a seguito dei numerosi arresti in flagranza eseguiti nei confronti di cittadini di nazionalità gambiana sul Lungomare Trieste di Salerno e delle diverse segnalazioni della cittadinanza salernitana arrivate all´attenzione degli investigatori.
Maggiori dettagli verranno illustrati nella conferenza stampa che si terrà alle ore 10.30 presso la Procura della Repubblica.
